The better Bakken:

  • more mega-pads, e.g., #23250, MRO, Deep Water Creek Bay-Bakken, i) 4 wells on one 640-acre unit; ii) 9 wells on each of two 1280-acre units; iii) 10 wells on one 1280-acre unit; iv) 11 wells on 3 1280-acre units; McLean;
Flashback, September, 2014:

September, 17 - 18, 2014, dockets; highlights

  • QEP, Grail-Bakken, 24 wells on all of the 640-acre, 1280-acre, and 2560-acre units in most of Grail. 
I don't know about you, but 24 wells on 640-acre units seems to suggest ... well, suggest something.
