Weather forecast: early winter and lots of snow forecast for the US. Colorado skiing opens tomorrow --
apparently the earliest opening ever for some.
Breckenridge and Keystone ski areas pushed up Friday’s 2018 openings to tomorrow, Wednesday, November 7, 2018, marking the first time in 10 years that the two have opened early, according to a release out Monday
Eldora will also be running its first lifts Wednesday, nine days ahead of schedule, and its earliest opening in more than two decades. The Nederland ski area will be the first Ikon Pass resort to open. Meanwhile, Ski Cooper moved up its opening to November 23, 2018.
Seriously, could we go from $60 to $100 in less than 60 days? Bloomberg thinks it is possible.
Oil prices are likely to be “biased to the upside” for the rest of
the year as demand from refineries rises in November and December,
according to Citigroup Inc.
An average price of $80 a barrel for this quarter is “realistic,”
with spikes to $90 or even $100 possible if further disruptions worsen a
supply crunch amid rising consumption, Citi’s Global Head of
Commodities Research Ed Morse said Tuesday. Benchmark Brent crude topped
$85 early last month on concern U.S. sanctions on Iran would create a
shortage. Prices have since dropped back.
