This change will allow us to direct production resources to other online projects. But we will forge ahead with our aggressive reporting on environmental and energy topics......but doesn't say how. [To put this in perspective, apparently the NYT has eight (8) sports blogs.]
Wow, the comments are most interesting (as usual). This is one, but certainly not the best:
Blah, blah, blah. Saw the writing on the wall when you dumped your science reporters. I really can't understand why, in 2013, NYT would be choosing to allocate fewer rather than more resources into environmental coverage, when climate change and environmental degradation are surely the issues of our times.Go to the link, read the comments.
I wonder if the Green Blog was dumped so it would not have to report Obama's decision to approve the Keystone XL 2.0. KXL2.0 is the defining issue -- not the most important energy issue of his second term, but the "defining" issue -- of his second term.
Whiting call and PDF worth a. Look. You might have covered.
ReplyDeleteNew horizon. Lots to brag about. Big well, big month, big year. More $ for WB.
The obvious company to buy CHK land.

Thank you for reminding. No, I have been remiss in getting back to WLL (and earnings calls for some others). I am waiting for the transcript (I don't think it's been posted yet) but I did just look at the corporate slide presentation. There's at least one slide that might be worth a screenshot for the blog.
DeleteWow, you are exactly right. Even if WLL doesn't buy CHK's assets, I'm sure they were in the discussion.
By the way, folks can see the corporate 4Q13 presentation at: http://www.whiting.com/investor-relations/
