Also, I did not see a Statoil/BEXP representative or someone from EOG, Newfield, XOM/XTO, or COP/Burlington Resources.
Looks like Chesapeake hasn't pulled out of the basin yet. Participating in seminars, drilling wells, etc. They need to tell their stockholders the truth about their position of 500,000 acres plus in the basin and stop playing games. They need to start developing what they have in a very fast way,if they are going to meet the goal they have set for oil production of 250,000 bbls/day by 2015.
ReplyDeleteChesapeake will keep a rig in the area for show and tell until they tie up as may acres as possible. The approx 500,000 acres might be leased but not paid for, many lawsuits in the area for non payment of bank drafts ( see stories in bis and dik paper). Have no idea what they are up to but many folks thought they would see a well.
