I don't know if folks were paying attention to Boehner yesterday while watching the Pope address Congress. Boehner looked very, very distressed. I thought he looked very, very uncomfortable, but I thought, seriously, it was more along the line of indigestion. He was seen shifting in his seat more than usual -- some might have described it as squirming -- the few video clips I saw, there were no smiles from Boehner. I didn't suspect anything more than indigestion, but then this -- his announcement that he will resign.
I doubt he heard much of the Papal speech.
On the other hand, maybe he heard enough.
[Oh, by the way, this is why Drudge has such a huge following: this story was immediately on Drudge Report; it's not yet on Los Angeles Times or Fox News internet page 8:42 a.m. Central Time. Drudge is (justifiably) faulted for updating his page so infrequently in a 48-hour news cycle, but he does get the important stuff out immediately.]

Job Fair In Williston
From The Williston Wire:
The Fall Williston Job Fair attracted just over 800 job seekers Sept. 23-24. The job fair had 437 advertised job openings.
Job Service North Dakota officials said employees were pleased with the quality of applicants. "I'm hearing they were happy with what they saw coming through; every booth had people," said Cindy Sanford.
Wal-Mart recruiters said the job fair was one of the best in the country. "This was put together very well," said Terrilyn Marx. "The hospitality suite for employees was so nice and unexpected and we had a lot of very strong leads."Probably won't be reported by Debbie Downer. I don't think she ever did report the story that North Dakota refused to help fund a Minnesota solar farm. Just not prudent.
