Elsewhere they are talking about the Arvid Anderson wells. This gives newbies some idea of the infill / development of the Bakken.

Speaking of the Alger, talk about a busy, busy field. Some of the Bakken wells with the highest IPs are located
in the Alger field. The following wells are all being drilled, on confidential status, and run in a west-to-east line, no more than about six miles long. They are all multi-well pads, in sections that already have producing wells. Of the six multi-well pads noted below, five have rigs on site (ros).

Let the development phase begin!
ReplyDeleteIf you listened to clr recent conf call you heard they currently have 3 rigs drilling eco-pads. By end of year that will be 12-14. By end of next yeayr 20 in full development mode with leases tied up.
They talked setting up three drilling units together so a rig could drill one pad walk a quarter mile drill another pad walk quarter mile a d till they covered three miles. Also for this pod there would be one central location for trucks to haul into and out of. Everything else would be piped to each pad.
As you've suggested: we've not seen anything yet.
DeleteThis is what the development phase is beginning to look like:

I will post that link as a stand-alone post so it's easier to click on.
When you get there, be sure to zoom in to see all the NOG wells -- and NOG is one of the smaller companies operating in the US.
