Notes From All Over, Part 1 -- November 6, 2019

Texas: the state has no income tax. The constitution is very, very clear on this issue -- no income tax on individuals. But Texans wanted to make sure the law was "ironclad." Yesterday, Texans went to the polls to vote on Proposition 4 to clearly state, "no income tax on individuals. The proposition passed overwhelmingly, about 80% for, 20% against.

Under Trump's watch: the first trade surplus in petroleum in more than forty years helped the US post a lower trade deficit in September compared to August, 2019.
