At the link, there will be an explanation for newbies why this update was done; for regular readers, the following two data points speak volumes.
- 18272, 199, OXY USA, s9/11; t11/11; F; cum 10K 1/12;
- 18353, 2,374, Anschutz --> OXY USA, s2/10; t4/10; cum 216K 1/12;
We are all wondering what OXY is doing. Low numbers in the Dimond field is understandable. It appears to be a marginal one near the northern end of mature Bakken production.
ReplyDeleteYet in southern Dunn Co the production fall off after the Anschutz to OXY transistion is a head scratcher. Were the Anschutz teams that much better than OXY, or is OXY just not paying enough attention since the Bakken is a mere sliver of their world wide operations? Perhaps this is where they send all their new hires to train them in the business? This is a rig. This is a pipe. This is a bit. Now attach them... ;)
I would love to know what is wrong there.
Well we do not know what is happening did Anschultz Ram the equipment in the ground, to pop out quick wells For Fast Sale! I have read that the workovers can be realy messy they break liners then they they have to shag the peices out and also using a Bigger Rig to fix it! So then the Diamond Field just did not work out so well, pun intended! For now The Cabernet field seems to be doing Well
Deletealthough we haven't seen what is actally happening their except for the few wells that are there. maybe someone knows how many wells are in the Cabernet that are owned by Oxy. well thats my piece.
