Random Update Of A BR Well With An IP of Zero -- March 13, 2019

BR holds the Bakken record for the lowest IP for a well that was not dry. Pretty good for a well with an IP of zero, wouldn't you say? I remember all the talk about IPs when the Bakken boom first began. LOL.

    1. Regular readers of the blog have this over and over (although I don't recall an IP of zero and then turning out to be this good. One can almost guess the operator based on the IP -- they are incredibly consistent. BR has incredibly good wells but consistently reports IPs less than 500. Statoil (now Equinor) used to be accuse of huge IPs, and then very mediocre wells. Some have similar thoughts of Hess, but I think over time Hess has gotten better and better wells. Equinor seems about the same. But MRO, it seems, consistently has "monster" IPs.
