A reader just sent me this:
Noticed about 20 minutes ago that ND GIS is down. Seems like a database(s) isn’t connected to a web server, somewhere. I called it in & they weren’t aware. They tried & can’t access wells in the DMR/NDIC building that’s on the internal core fiber optic backbone network.
Reply: I noticed the same thing. As the big network anchors say, "we will continue to monitor." LOL.
Great time to do my daily Duolingo. And watch the US Open.

11:03 a.m. CT: it now appears NDIC has taken the site down while they troubleshoot the problem.
