Some notes about this well from the file report:
- 3.5 miles northeast of Watford City
- target: the porous dolomitic sandstone of the Three Forks, 1st bench
- spud, June 6, 2016
- the middle Bakken penetrated at 11,122' TVD
- the lower Bakken was drilled at 11,165' TVD (making the middle Bakken about 43 feet thick)
- the Pronghorn penetrated at 11,165' TVD (sic)
- the Three Forks 1st bench was penetrated at 11,194' TVD
- gas and hydrocarbon shows were a poor indicator of placement in Zone throughout the lateral
- gas fluctuated between 500 - 800 units throughout the majority of the lateral with peaks sometimes in excess of 1,000 units
- in the summary it was noted that the lateral was targeting the Three Forks 1st bench ranging from 18' below the Pronghorn down to approximately 37' below the Pronghorn [which made the 1st bench about 20' thick, half the thickness of the middle Bakken]
- drilling operations concluded on June 26, 2016
- 90% of the lateral was within the target formation; no exposure to the Claystone
