Original Post
- Case 20464, CLR, Antelope-Sanish, 17 wells on a 640-acre unit; 10 wells on a 1280-acre unit, McKenzie [previous wells in this section targeted both the Three Forks and the middle Bakken, though the wells were all permitted to target the "Sanish" pool; Section 2-152-94]
The wells, considering these are Antelope-Sanish wells, they seem to be lousy wells as of 12/19:
- 19115, 609, CLR, Mack 2-2H, 15 stages, 1.2 million lbs sand/ceramic, t10/10; cum 224K 12/19; some flaring in 4/15; needs work, 12/19; cum 248K 5/23;
- 17640, IA/380, CLR, Mack 1-2H, t3/09; cum 200K 10/18; some flaring; off line since early 2018; cum 202K 1/23;
- 26633, 481, CLR, Mack 8-2H, t8/14; cum 92K 12/19; some flaring; cum 110K 11/22;
- 26632, 202, CLR, Mack 9-2H2, Antelope-Sanish, t8/14; cum 90K 12/19; flaring; cum 91K 11/22;
- 26631, 289, CLR, Mack 10-2H3, t8/14; cum 23K 12/19; no flaring as of 1/16; cum 33K 11/22;
- 26630, 630, CLR, Mack 11-2H1, t8/14; cum 81K 12/19; some flaring; cum 117K 11/22;
- 26629, 516, CLR, Mack 12-2H2, t9/14; cum 96K 10/18; some flaring; cum 98K 11/22;
- 26627, 283, CLR, Mack 13-2H3, Three Forks B3, 15 stages; 2.9 million lbs sand/ceramic, t10/14; cum 97K 9/19; some flaring; off line since 9/19; cum 64K 11/22;
- 20623, 571, CLR, Mack 3-2H, Antelope-Sanish; t10/11; cum 196K 12/19; some flaring; cum 214K 5/23
- 21152, IA/901, CLR, Mack 4-2H, t10/11; cum 223K 3/19; some flaring; off line since 2/19; cum 225K 5/23;
- 21151, 446, CLR, Mack 5-2H, t11/12; cum 165K 12/19; some flaring; cum 190K 5/23;
- 24358, 206, CLR, Mack 6-2H, t8/13; cum 146K 12/19; some flaring; cum 193K 5/23;
- 24359, 842, CLR, Mack 7-2H, t8/13; cum 136K 5/19; some flaring; off line since 6/19; cum 143K 5/23;
- 28930, 1,132, CLR, Quale Federal 2-1H, Sanish pool; 30 stages, 3.5 million lbs; t2/15; cum 437K 12/19; some flaring; this well was sited on a Mack pad but the horizontal ran in the neighboring drilling unit; of all the wells in this list, this Quale well is the only long lateral; all the rest are short laterals; cum 509K 5/23;
This appears to be a very, very good example of where this field has natural gas gathering and processing but is unable to keep up with all the natural gas being flared. There are months, for example, when most of the wells are not flaring anything at all.
