An Old, Old 2-Million-Bbl Madison Well With Jump In Production -- January 27, 2019

Updates

Later, 2:00 p.m. Central Time: see first comment. Great catch/great observation -- all that produced water. There is no sundry form since 2015 so nothing to tell us if a workover or something else. In addition, nothing at FracFocus (although one would not expect anything at FracFocus). But nearby frack? That's an interesting thought. I would not think so -- Bakken formation vs Madison, but on the other hand, the depth of this Madison well at 9,550 feet is very, very close to the vertical depth of the Bakken. Interesting thought.

  2. NP Resouces has a Cerkoney well that if I’m right is only a few miles away, that may have been fracked recently.

  3. You are correct: FracFocus says #34812, Cerkoney 141-100-2-11-1H was fracked 8/6/18 - 8/13/18.
