Last week I mentioned that The New Yorker seemed to be "getting better," with less evidence of suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome. I spoke too soon. I'm glad I have not re-subscribed. The cover cartoon is of Trump -- and not in a pleasant or flattering way, and an inside joke that few will "get" this week and no one will "get" five years from now. The main article this week: on Beto. You have got to be kidding. Of all the things and all the people to review, they chose Beto?
For the record, Beto's polling less than 4%. We will check in two weeks from today and see how The New Yorker article helped him.
