Huge Pick Up in Pickup Sales in North Dakota -- Not a Bakken Story

Due to robust farm economy, the number of pickups that are being sold has increased remarkably.

  1. Bowman Sales and service, ( Bowman ND ) claims, in advertisements to have the largest selection of Ford pickups, between Bismarck to Billings. Things must be doing good as the local paper indicates the detail part of the garage is looking for full time help.

  3. It really is incredible, isn't it. I know "Jerry Harmon" very, very well. The family has bought many cars from his dealership over the years. Great memories.

Yes, I imagine the roughnecks have some pretty nice pickups.

  5. It really is an exciting story.

I do have concern for all the growing pains caused by this boom that many old-timers are probably experiencing. It has to be very, very hectic in the Williston Basin.

I hope folks take care of each other, especially those that may not be benefiting from the boom as much as others.
