I have always predicted that Roosevelt and Richland Counties even Southern Sheridan, will be seeing a bright future in the next few years. One major problem ( for operators holding temp spacing) is that the clock is running on leases which were obtained back in 2008. This scenario is definitely in the favor of the mineral owners since most originally leased for $100/acre and a less percent royalty. These mineral owners in Eastern Montana should see a great things happening financially in the next months.

ReplyDeleteI agree. I look forward to seeing what is going on in Montana when I return to visit next spring/summer.
