But having just renewed our lease for fifteen months, I have no complaints. At least thirty percent of our monthly rent is completely discretionary. I could give up that discretionary add-ons if push came to shove.

Add-ons like storage, one car port and two garages.

    In southern ca where I live, this may be accurate if one is buying or renting today. If one has owned for any length of time it definitely is not true.
