Adding this to the 2022 big stories:
- unprecedented economic breakout in the US; will drag global economy along;
- surge in fossil fuel energy that began in 2021 will continue into 2022 and could last another five years
- led by natural gas
What I would most like Greta to explain/discuss:
- what happened at the "line" where natural gas decreases; coal increases (over time) -- 2021?
- why did hydro drop?
- what's going on with solar? and,
- whether wind/solar is capacity or actual generation? I assume generation. If generation, what is the ratio generation / capacity
- and, could we get a cost per Btu of each source of energy?
- and why is "coal" always represented by a black line?
- and whether 22% is trivial?
Hydro is down in large part due to the drought in the West.
ReplyDeleteAgree completely about hydro / drought.
