they say they'll need more miles of carbon capture pipelines than there are oil & gas pipelines...makes sense; if you burn a liter of gasoline, you end up with 1000 liters of CO2....it's not something one could easily move by rail..
ReplyDeleteback when atmospheric CO2 was 417 parts per million, i figured there to be 153019699399000000 cubic meters of the stuff out there...sounds like a business Warren Buffett should be looking into...
Yes, this whole carbon capture scheme is a "pipe dream." I've waited a long time to use that. Warren Buffett will jump in when all the infrastructure has been put in and the carbon capture scheme is a cash cow.
