Traveling -- No More Updates Until This Evening?

Not sure when I will get back on the internet, traveling today.

I've posted the wells that came off the confidential list today, scroll down or sidebar to the right.

My biggest disappointment: I may miss the Apple announcements at 10:00 a.m. PT (if that is the correct time).  Should be a huge day.

Also, looks like another great buying opportunity.

Good luck to all.

And congrats to state utilities for getting $370 million in US government loans as reported earlier to build out the power grid in North Dakota. Huge.

  1. #22174 - WHITING OIL AND GAS, KANNIANEN 22-32XH, SE

I took this short, grainy 19 second video of whiting's 3 well pad south of Stanley about 12 miles and posted on Youtube. This was the biggest, baddest flare I've seen so far in the area. Whiting's gas plant is aboout 5 miles away
so, I expect the gas to be piped there soon.?
Most of the flares I've seen over the years are pretty gentle and the flares billow. This one, however, is like a jet engine in afterburner, or rocket motor pointed downward.

    1. Great video. It will be posted at the link. Thank you. Yes, it does sound like a jet engine. I've been around many jet engines in another life. Military jet engines are really, really loud, especially those in the F-111.

    1. Killing you! It was killing me. I was off the net for two days due to traveling in local area. I am getting caught up. There will be several links on three or four stand-alone posts. Lots of stories; I hope they aren't all lost due to being consolidated in just a few stand-alone posts.

But anyway, back to the blog for awhile. Thank you for taking time to comment.

    1. Wow, one doesn't see that often -- two completely unrelated stories in one article. One on oil (and a huge story at that) and then the iPad angle. Thank you for sending. After being off the internet for two days, I'm finally back and getting caught up.
