The irony is that many in North Dakota are very upset with the boom because of all the people moving into the region. Before the boom they may have been "alone," but they were not lonely.
Salazar: "we support fracking as long as it's done in a safe manner." Hogwash, as they used to say in Iowa.
I guess the big complaint in the Williston Basin is the lonesome feeling from a lack of people.
