I'll start blogging in about an hour.
But, wow, the weather channel -- across the midwest up to the Great Lakes. The phrase I kept hearing, "we've never seen it so bad." "We've lived here for fifty years and the ice and snow has never been so bad.'
So, there you have it. Weather.
100 yr cycles. Last storm of such intensity in Western Montana was in the 1930's. So I would say, it's right on time. Weather, like history, often repeats itself.
ReplyDeleteThe thing is, many people will live inside those 100 yrs and never see either extreme. Those that might experience one, rarely live long enough to see the next.
So the whole "Been here 50 yrs..." just doesnt hold up
My rant for the day
You are so correct. My bad (since I was suckered into that same misconception -- for lack of a better word).
DeletePretty funny. Thanks for taking time to write.
