i don't know why everyone is reporting that as the largest draw "since" 1990...the records only go back to 1990, and there is no draw larger in 1990 or in any other year. since i can't imagine a larger draw before that, i'm calling it a record draw, although i suppose "largest draw on record" would be most accurate..
I think it's just one of those "reporting" things -- "largest draw since records were first kept in 1990" would be most accurate, but takes up more "space." Shorthand, "since 1990," simply saves space. A carryover from print media when space cost money (newsprint).
