Two New Permits; Four Permits Renewed; Six DUCs Reported As Completed -- Ddecember 20, 2023

Locator: 46363B.

Wow, what a great day!

  • Apple loses first appeal with regard to its Apple Watch; import ban remains in place;
  • after starting out well, the Dow loses 500 points at the close; and,
  • there was something else, I thought, but if there was, I forgot what it was.

It's counter-intuitive with regard to the Apple Watch story and the Dow story but it will become clear eventually.

Most ridiculous story today: the story in today's WSJ -- how "he" stole hundreds of iPhones and their passwords.

  • Spoiler alert: the victims willingly gave this stranger their iPhone password, and then he or an accomplice stole the iPhone.
    • having said that, Apple's security fix is incredibly awesome! More on that later some day, perhaps, or at least the link.
