Biden owns $6 gasoline in California: social media is starting to mention that President Biden owns $6 gasoline in California -- shutting down the Keystone XL; revoking federal drilling permits; slowing permit approval process; DAPL at risk. As states lift pandemic restrictions, gasoline demand will surge. Today for the first time ever, my corner service station (north Texas, DFW area) was sold out of gasoline. Went down the road but this is almost unheard of, our corner service station running out of gasoline. Occurred once before in my memory: Hurricane Harvey.

  1. 6 bucks a gallon for gasoline, no problem. Takes about one gallon of gasoline to get my Buick from home to ALDI and back. About a 20 mile round trip. I'll pay anyone to push my Buick for 20 miles for 6 bucks while I sit in my leather heated seat with the radio playing. Folks don't appreciate the energy stored in a gallon of gasoline,

    1. You are so correct. You raise a very, very good point. Just like USPS first class stamps costing 50 cents. Very, very expensive. Unless you seldom use them. Same with gasoline. The cost per gallon is less important than the total amount of money spent on gasoline in the first place.
