Keeping America great. This
has to be frustrating for "the Squad" -- the US just keeps
getting better and better (if one ignores what is going on in East St
Louis, downtown Minneapolis, and Portland, OR, in general). In the last
twenty-four hours, three stories highlighting how far the US has come:
- semiconductor chips: there's a shortage right now but it's temporary and the US will come out of this stronger than ever;
- apparently the US -- not France -- now leads the global fashion industry;
- and then agriculture -- Deere, Caterpillar both with incredibly earnings and guidance and now Cargill -- barreling toward its most profitable year ever. The $4.3 billion in net income in the first nine months of its 2021 fiscal year already surpasses its best ever annual profit.

Just like all the auto manufacturers John Deere will be held back the "chip" shortage. Check the auto steer of today's combine which is totally dependent on today's technology. Go to your local Deere Dealership and see if you can get a delivery date before the middle of next for year any equipment that is dependent on high tech.
ReplyDeleteAgree completely. Those who plan ahead can put their orders in now. A year from now we'll be in high cotton.
