Well, maybe the anshutz acreage is not all that great?
ReplyDeleteYou can frac rock until you are blue in the face but if there is no oil in place the "frac design" doesn't matter.
Time will tell. For better analysis, the many, many articles on the Bakken archived at the right will provide a lot more detail.
DeleteBy the way, the OXY wells are getting much, much better, based on IPs.

The fields OXY has are historically much better than some of the fields north of Williston, and yet the operators north of Williston are doing much, much better.
So, you may be right, but my hunch is you are not.
