Nine (9) New Permits; Seventeen Wells Come of Confidential List -- The Williston Basin, North Dakota, USA

OXY has permits for four wells on one padd in Fayette field.

  1. Considering the Wanner well listed above, I think this is the first time that everyone can agree that Brigham has not over inflated the IP.

    1. You bring up two points, but I will address only one -- in a stand-alone post.

      I was ignoring this well because I simply did not have enough time, but now my interest was piqued. This turns out to be a very interesting well.

      Again, there are "no" dry wells in the Bakken and in the stand-alone post this will be shown to be "true" again.

      Wow, I'm glad you wrote it; this well bothered me (DRY) but I just didn't have the energy to check it out; now I do. Thank you.

    2. But, speaking of not inflating their IPs, the honor goes to OXY USA in the Bakken.

    3. I agree, OXY gets the Bakken Oscar. Wouldn't it be great if the OXY wells produced as well as other operators wells do in the same vicinity and cumulatively over time?

    4. As noted, I must be missing something, but if these wells are economical, think how the BEXP, EOG, Hess, MRO, OAS, KOG wells, etc, are doing. Smile.
