I agree: with regard to the big run-up, he was very, very late.
However, I don't see his support as being bearish for the market or for the Bakken. Automated (computer) trading still rules the day. Most of the Bakken will follow the price of oil and the overall general direction of the market.
The only thing I feel Cramer has done is make a large number of investors aware of the companies in the Bakken. For some (including me) it's a "feel good" effect but nothing more.
