You get the wrong idea by looking at per rig metrics. Ask yourself thism, why aren't they equal? If the Bakken is better, why don't rigs flow there?
ReplyDeleteService costs, takeaway and taxes are all higher in the Bakken. And the Permian still has some exploration/delineation going on. That's why.
High per rig metrics are just a result of low stim crews operating in the Bakken. Just extreme high grading.
