ReplyDeleteIs there any other information on the status of this well?
DeleteThe folks over at the Teegue Bakken Shale Discussion Group (linked at the sidebar at the right) might have more information.

DeleteWas in ND to see family. Went by Decker, Grenze, and Kostenko.
DeleteNomack 312 is being repaired to move north, not sure what's going on at Decker. It looks like everything is in place but wellhead still closed off. Talked to neighbor on Kostenko, sounds like cracked casing.
They could not frack earlier this year because of it. Not sure what would happen next if anything. If anybody has input it would appreciated.
According to NDIC and Chesapeake, Decker well has not been fracked. Chesapeake indicated a week or so ago, there were two wells in front of it, however, the guy I talked to said they weren't sure they could keep the frack crew they had. Said frack crews are hard to come by.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting, thank you. Especially interesting: "frack crews are hard to come by." After all the resources poured into fracking, it sounds like this remains one of the bigger challenges.
