The Political Page, T+93 -- April 24, 2017

This is a great, great example of taking President Trump seriously, but not taking him literally. President Trump to NASA astronauts: "get Americans on Mars by the end of my first term; failing that, by the end of my second term."

Meanwhile, former President Obama is in Chicago helping troubled young men find jobs. Which, of course, begs the question, what was he doing for eight years when he was in a position in which he could actually do something?

  1. Have always thought that the major disconnect with Pres Trump and press is that he is a "big picture" kinda guy and speaks in those terms. Press is so used to dissecting the very minutia of every statement, Trump comes off as a braggart or just crazy to them.
He sees the big picture and then hires the best folks for the details. Seems to have worked for him so far, even if the MSM hates it.
