This is what's really cool about this song, or better said, this event.
And here he did.
Quick! Who's the drummer?
- #20: Abbey Road Anniversary
- #66: Jeff Beck and Johnny Depp
- #81: Lana Del Rey: Born To Die
The online 'chatter' about this young lady is increasing in tempo as a wider recognition of her accomplishments are rippling across the internet.
I have said it before and I will repeat it ...
Using the specific criteria of peer comparison, NO one has dominated like Ms. Ledecky in the entire history of sport.Hyperbole?What golfer has won by 10 shots every tourrnament, tennis player always winning in straight sets, race car drivers lapping runners up, boxers KO'ing every opponent in the first round, baseball players winning 10 straight MVPs?Obviously, no one.
World class athletes - even the immortals - compete against other, only slightly less talented, athletes.
Katy has been SO dominant in her sport, NOT merely by consistently winning, but by beating her challengers by HUGE margins ... for years now.
North Dakotans have every right to be immensely proud of the truly legendary accomplishments of KL.
It's been fun to watch.
Most irrelevant story yesterday: why El Salvador said "yes" to Bitcoin.
- Bitcoin drops below $43,000 after Bitcoin went "live" in El Salvador; it had been as high as $50,000 earlier in the day;
- El Salvador plans to use geothermal heat to mine Bitcoin -- NPR;
- El Salvador: Bitcoin ATM machines -- essentially non-existent; and, here; and, here; and, here;

During World War II, Lamarr learned that radio-controlled torpedoes, an emerging technology in naval war, could easily be jammed and set off course.
She thought of creating a frequency-hopping signal that could not be tracked or jammed. She contacted her friend, composer and pianist George Antheil, to help her develop a device for doing that, and he succeeded by synchronizing a miniaturized player-piano mechanism with radio signals.
They drafted designs for the frequency-hopping system, which they patented.
