Gaetz Withdraws -- November 21, 2024

Locator: 44373TRUMP2.0.

Trump 2.0 is tracked here.

Makes my day.

Can't wait to see what "job" Trump promised him that doesn't need Senate confirmation.

We have a DOGE; does the president need a ....?

Meanwhile, the market -- holy mackerel ...

With regard to Nvidia and AI, there are two camps:

  • it's all hype;
  • it's all real, and it's only beginning.

I'm in the second camp.

But something else is going on. Warren Buffett / BRK is not known for tech. Something else is going on. The Gaetz withdrawal is certainly noteworthy.

Really? This was posted a few days ago. Market crash and mass defaults. It gets tedious. But then, consider the source.

Having said that, this is not to be taken lightly. My hunch; two things: crypto.

Under the Trump administration, crypto becomes legitimate and US debt is tracked in crypto. Eventually, US debt in dollars converted to crypto.

MRO: to be delisted today after sale to COP. COP up a bit today.

SNOWjob: SNOW up $40 today! Thank you, Warren Buffett, for alerting me to this company. LOL.

Cramer: that story about Nvidia's new chips overheating? A lie.

At the open: Nvidia (NVDA) up 4.22%. Holy mackerel! Up $2.18.

Cramer: Cramer's first hour -- will the entire program be on Nvidia and the companies buying Nvidia blades? Tat certainly appears likely.

California's bullet train: holy mackerel.

Housing: link here. One problem? Insurance. Hurricanes. Floods. Price gouging.

On paper, owning a home is almost always more expensive than renting — about 14% more, on average, after factoring in expenses like insurance, taxes, and upkeep.

But the difference has grown much more extreme in recent years as just about all homeownership costs have ballooned.

How extreme? Exact cost estimates vary, but recently the premium for homeownership has been at least 35% over renting, a level that’s near historical highs and is likely to persist.

Reprogramming and transferring: time for a re-look. My hunch: Trump and Homan consider immigration / deportation a national emergency.

RBN Energy: LCI hydrogen would help reduce GHG emissions, but major challenges loom.

Increasing the production of low-carbon-intensity (LCI) hydrogen is viewed by many as a way to help the U.S. reduce its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. But so far only minimal amounts of LCI hydrogen are being produced, raising the question of what it would take to significantly ramp up production without breaking the bank. In today’s RBN blog, we conclude a series on a National Petroleum Council (NPC) study on LCI hydrogen with a look at its recommendations for what the U.S. should do next.
