'Leader' of Jamal Khashoggi hit team disappears and 'may have been poisoned'Yes, I was thinking of Khashoggi tonight after today's news that Iran hit Saudi's largest export terminal.
If a prince can khashoggi a journalist and get away with it can you imagine what that prince (MSB) has in store for Iran? Something tells me a lot of folks in the mideast are on edge tonight.
LOL.
Trump has a long memory. He will remember that Iran shot down a $100 million US drone flying in international airspace. Three strikes and you're out.
On another note: it was reported last week that the US "briefly" became the #1 exporter of oil and petroleum products. A lot of naysayers said that was an anomaly. LOL. Abqaiq is on fire. We'll see next week how this plays out. Let's see if oilprice, The WSJ, or anyone else has updated the story. Not really.
A week ago David Muir did not know how to spell Abqaiq; this next week he will mention that complex by name a half dozen times. Hillary will tell the story how she once flew into Abqaiq under heavy artillery fire. I think Connecticut's Richard Blumenthal served with the US Marines in Abqaiq.
But how the tables have turned. From The WSJ:
It also underscores the dramatic change that has occurred in the U.S., which is now the world’s largest crude producer and among the top exporters of oil and gas.
For the first time in decades, President Trump would be in the rare position of having the ability to help stabilize the oil market in the event of a prolonged outage. That’s a remarkable turnaround from the 1990s and 2000s when the country had far greater dependency on foreign crude. It's too bad President Obama killed the Keystone XL -- that would have been a huge insurance policy for the US, and the entire world. But Obama knew best. What a doofus.
The [London] Mirror. When the US Air Force sent me to Yorkshire, England, some years ago for multiple extended deployments, on Sunday mornings, I would run -- yes, run -- down the hill to the local mom-and-pop corner market store and buy bacon, eggs, bread, and three newspapers, The [London] Times, The [London] Guardian, and a tabloid, usually The Mirror. Or maybe The [London] Telegraph. I forget. But two newspapers for sure.

But now, a bigger problem. "One Headlight" reminds me of another song, and it's driving me nuts. I can't think of that song. I'll eventually identify it but it might take some time. Until then it will drive me nuts.
