Either Florida is playing "catch-up," or several other states are falling way behind.

Link here.

So much from one graph:
  • before: a mix of additional energy sources added
  • after: it's all natural gas that's being added
  • only two sources showed growth: natural gas (95%); other (5%); no growth: coal or petroleum liquids
  • staircase additions
  • either FL was way, way behind, or other states like TX are playing catch-up
  • New Yorkers, like Carl Icahn, moving to Florida en masse
Elsewhere, as of 2017:
Graphic above, over last ten years, natural gas additions:
  • FL: 15.7
  • VA: 5.1
  • TX: 4.9
  • NC: 4.6
  • CA: 4.5
  • TN: 4
  • GA: 4
  • KY: 3.8
  • NV: 2.5
  • Rest of US: 17.5
Total added in last ten years (GW): 50 GW
