The Gene 1-22 H in Stockyard Creek a zavanna well is flowing 2936 BOEPD.This area looks good for zavanna and its little partner Samson oil and gas.

  2. Thank you very much. I'm away from my "home" computer so I will update this when I get home. You have no idea how much I appreciate input and feedback from those who enjoy following the Bakken. Good luck in all your endeavors.

Jayhawk Energy has completed two vertical wells the Knudson #1 and Jenks #1 at its Crosby property in the Ratcliffe pay zone. The wells are flowing 30 to 40 bopd which isnt alot but combined with the 65 bopd they were producing from there existing wells this doubles the production for this tiny company. They commented about a 40 well vertical program on their property in the near future. This area may still have the potential for a horizontal well if a thicker pay zone is found.I looked at the ratcliffe formation and it is very shallow depth wise.

Bruce, Zavanna has permitted the next well in Stockyard Creek the Gary 1-24H.This well is very close to the Gene 1-22H.I think this area has the potential to be better than Stony Creek. This next well may confirm this.

  5. Thank you for providing these updates. I really appreciate the input. I re-posted this information as "stand-along" posting; it was that interesting. I need to do an update of the Stockyard Creek oil field.

  7. Anyone have any news about the Wildcat area around 155 97 and 156 98 ? seems to be popping lately. Who seems to be the biggest player there?

  8. The wildcats in 156-98 are "all" American Oil and Energy (6/7). The other one is Anschutz.

Less information on 155-97, but my hunch is on Whiting.

  9. That should be "American Oil and Gas."

It was recently announced that Hess will buy American Oil and Gas, so I guess the activity in146-98 will belong to Hess -- just guessing. On the other hand, with these "new" sections of interest, there has probably been lots of companies involved.

  11. Thank you. I have to put a note at the top of that page.

I continue to update every day; haven't missed a day.

I now break up the list by calendar quarters.

On the sidebar on the right, under "Data," go to "New Wells Reporting..." and select the quarter you are are interested. Most recent quarter is listed first.

Unlike most blogs, the sidebar at the right is not archives of past postings. Most of it is data that is updated regularly and/or frequently.

Here are the links if you can't find them at the sidebar at the right:
