Worthy Of A Stand-Alone Post? -- December 16, 2019

FedEx: has just lost $3.00 of today's gains and is now trading in negative territory.
Amazon just announced that it will stop allowing third party vendors (selling through Amazon) to use FedEx. Amazon cites poor delivery performance. One-half of all third-party Amazon shipments are done through FedEx. The "order" is effective immediately and will continue until Amazon says FedEx performance improves. FedEx, 1:53 p.m. Central Time, down $1.33; down 0.80%, trading at $164.27. Intra-day high had been $168.37. Gains given up: $4.10. $4.10/$168.37 = 2.5%.
