After Fifteen Years, A Huge Jump In Production -- Tell Me Again About Hubbert's Theory -- November 24, 2021

For full production of this well, see this post

This well:

  • fifteen years old;
  • producing more than many current and new Bakken wells are initially reporting
  • in its 15th year, shows a huge jump in production;
  • sundry form with dirt work date: 11/16/20: application for permit for re-entry:
    • lateral 2
    • sidetrack 1
    • objective: Three Forks First Bench
    • plan: a re-entry application; plan is to pull the existing liner, extend the well bore 1,496' and run a new production liner;
  • it appears the original wellbore, tested October 9, 2006, targeted the Three Forks and was not fracked;
  • remember: the Bakken boom began in Montana in 2000; and in North Dakota in 2007;
