Around The Bakken -- December 10, 2018

Oasis' Berquist wells have been fracked; they are producing some nice wells; production updated. The wells are tracked here.

WPX's Caribou wells have been updated.

BR's CCU Red River wells have been updated; since last update three more wells have been completed and are producing.

WPX's Luce Evans wells have been updated; these are huge wells.

Statoil's Lougheed wells have been updated. These wells got off to a slow start but look like they are coming along nicely.

QEP's Foreman wells have been updated.

Whiting's/KOG's P Wood wells have been updated.

Enerplus' "Badge of Courage wells have been updated.

CLR's Mack wells have been updated. When these wells are re-fracked, we will know we are in Bakken 3.0.

Note To The Granddaughters

NASA's Voyager 2 spacecraft:
  • is 11 billion miles from earth
  • has now entered the heliopause [interstellar space] (the boundary between hot solar wind and cold, interstellar space)
  • was launched 41 years ago
  • but even at 11 billion miles from earth, Voyager 2 is still inside the solar system
  • Quick: how much longer will it take Voyage 2 to reach the boundary of the solar system?
    • 3 months
    • 3 years
    • 30 years
    • 300 years
    • 30,000 years
Yes. My point exactly.
