The NDIC Website Is Still "Compromised"

  1. Yes, very frustrating. I tried to get in yesterday, but it couldn't find the link. Today it is back up, but the Active Drilling Rigs and Daily Activity Reports are from Friday. And GIS Map Server link is down. They must either be having issue. But I find it interesting that they don't at least say they are down for repair on their homepage? Or on the nd.gov homepage (I've seen other agencies to this)

    1. Serious issues. The site has been down since late Friday night. Someone suggested it was due to the weather, but the blizzard didn't hit until Monday. I still think it's a Chinese "denial of service" attack.

    2. I agree; very, very frustrating.

  2. I think the site down is isolated to whoever is in charge of the Oil & Gas web site. All the other state agency sites are up and running. It appears to be isolated to the Oil & Gas agency. Hopefully they will get the issue resolved soon.

    1. I hope they aren't trying to "improve" the site. The NDIC site is incredibly good as it is, especially when compared to sites at other states.
