I was trying to figure out why AAPL rose so much on Friday. This may be part of the reason.
It's unusual to hear of an Apple iPhone user switching to Android, but not at the other way around. Once you enter the Apple eco-system, it's very, very difficult to switch to Android.
I really don't think the iPhone is about any one "thing" -- e.g., AI. It simply works and lasts forever. And once you buy it, everything seems free. I don't think Apple users think about "security" when using an Apple product but it's there and may be more important that we realize.
