Commodities: commercial vans, pickup trucks -- they can only compete on price. Period. Dot. Except perhaps Tesla. This is even worse that ICE sedans, pickup trucks, etc. where they, too, are pretty much commodities -- only able to compete on price -- the difference being loyalty, brand recognition, and 100 years of building a legacy.
Photoshoot: commodities.

Tesla Foundation Series
Quick: what's the Tesla Foundation Series?
Not much written on it.
Basically, $20,000 extra to get to the front of the line.
In our neighborhood, I generally see two Cybertrucks on the road daily. I assume they're the same ones I see every day. They really stand out.
And, those folks paid $20,000 extra just to be first in line.
And, wow, if you thought the F-350 was a big truck, the Cybertruck is a huge behemoth. Yes, it can fit in a standard parking space, but just barely and completely obstructs view of drivers parked alongside it.
Other than the "cool" factor, I don't see the attraction ....
