Cheerfulness: Google: growing economic optimism among respondents -- a line I took from an article in a recent business magazine.
Gloom and doom: without question, the "Nightly News" is the worst "thing" young impressionable adults can watch. Fortunately they don't. What I see on the first 20 minutes of ABC News each night is exactly the opposite of what I see in real America, at least that part of American in which I reside.
