 I think folks forget how much money there is out. Folks are increasingly able to afford more up-scale phones.

    My wife occasionally gets on my case about "all the good stuff" I get for myself. I'm a Pixel 7a believer.... What can I say to an Apple believer who owns an Apple iPhone 12 pro?? https://versus.com/en/apple-iphone-12-pro-vs-google-pixel-7a.
    I own Apple stock but not their darned products~ My wife owns them all: iPhone, iPad, mac pro, watch. Scary caper, that Apple bunch...
    I'm thinking about getting rid of my Garmin Fenix 5 and going back to Timex. Life was sure a lot simpler then...

      To each his or her own.

      I had a Nokia flip phone for decades (?) and refused to ever get an iPhone. [That's on record with in the WSJ from a decade ago when interviewed by the WSJ for a story on the new Apple iPhone. I said I would bet an iPhone for all my family members but I'm keeping my flip phone.]

      I've now had an iPhone for quite some time and all the Apple products. Only when you are all "in" the Apple ecosystem do you realize how incredible Apple products have. I bought a brand-new MacBook Air a few years ago as a back up in case my workhorse, a MacBook Air, ever goes down. I am still using the "old" Macbook Air and keeping the "brand new" MacBook Air in the original box in case I ever need it. It's very possible I will buy the next iteration MacBook and never need the "brand new" MacBook that's sitting under my desk.

      On another note, the iPad: best mobile device ever. Period. Dot.
