ReplyDeleteThis is why I never got "accepted" US "calculation" of inflation. And why I was never concerned about inflation. Blackstone CEO on CNBC right now saying the same thing.
DeleteI just checked one of the many boxes we bought: "best buy" date is November 12, 2024 -- hardly "due date coming due." In fact, this is all about supply chain opening up, marketing, and huge competition in our area. As mentioned numerous times on the blog, within walking distance or biking distance for me: Walmart, Target, Market Street (a bit farther; prefer to drive, 3.5 miles), Albertson's (becoming a Tom Thumb store), a second Tom Thumb store, a Dollar General Store, Kroger (a bit farther, prefer to drive, 3.1 miles). Walmart seldom has sales, but always lowest regular price; Kroger best for sales (amazing, their sales) and best produce. Albertson's / Market Street with best beef.
