Oil and natural gas:

  • WTI: up 2.69%; up $2.14; trading at $81.63
  • Brent: up 2.25%; just went over $85
  • Murban (the "one in demand" right now): up 1.42%; at $86.29
  • natural gas: up 3.75%; trading at $2.570

Market:

  • CVX: up 1.18%; up $1.88; trading at $161.61.
  • BUD: up 1.69%; up 95 cents; trading at $57.16.

Let's say, average price for oil when "they" were drilling Tier 1: $60.

Let's say, average price for oil when majority of new wells are Tier 2: $120.

1000 bbls at $$60 = $60,000.

700 bbls at $120 = $84,000.
