The Wisconsin Covid-19 Experience -- Update -- Exactly What Did We Accomplish Last Year? September 4, 2021

Link here

Wisconsin is experiencing its second wave. Most states are experiencing their third or fourth wave.

Current active cases:

And weren't we told that only "serious" cases were being reported?

In other words, in the graphic above, is the data incomplete? Is the surge worse than being shown?

Today, 80,000 spectators at the University of Wisconsin Badgers - Penn State Nittany Lions football stadium in Madison, Wisconsin. [By way, Penn State, #19, beat the Badgers, #12.]

Eighty thousand spectators, no masks, obviously no social distancing, and the number of cases in Wisconsin surging.

Tell me again, what we're doing?

It's obvious, Americans are "done" with Covid-19. Some will get vaccinated, some will get boosters, some won't get vaccinated at all. There's always ivermectin.

By the way, compare Wisconsin with South Dakota: there's no comparison.  Oklahoma? Not looking good right now.

Taco Bell:

Link at Yahoo!Finance:

Taco Bell, a unit of Yum! Brands Inc, announced plans to open a new two-story location in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota in summer 2022.

The location will use Vertical Works Inc.'s licensed design and technology and feature four drive-thru lanes. Taco Bell calls the new location the “frictionless future of Taco Bell.”

A customer scans a QR code and then pulls forward to pick up their food in a contactless manner using a lift system and two-way audio and video technology.

Four drive-thru lanes will accelerate consumers' shifts to digital ordering and food delivery. Three lanes will be designated for mobile orders and delivery drivers to pick up orders quicker than ever. One lane will be for traditional orders.

The whole story is fascinating but what caught my attention: the use of QR codes.
