An Early Look At A Petro-Hunt Well In The Charlson Oil Field -- June 20, 2021

Back on February 2, 2020, a little over a year ago:

  • 36951, conf (ros), Petro-Hunt, USA 153-95-8A-31-1H Charlson, SENE 8-153-95; 

At the NDIC confidential well data base, there is no date when this well is released from the confidential list, but it must be soon. The well has begun producing:

If this well (#36951) runs parallel to #36950):

  • 36950, F/A/1,173, Petro-Hunt, USA 153-95-8A-31-2H, Charlson, first production, 11/20; t--; cum 183K 4/21; Three Forks; 65 stages; 392,555 bbls (16.5 million gallons);
    • logging began, February 2, 2020, 3:40 a.m. CT
    • KOP reached: February 4, 2020, 5:00 a.m. CT
    • lateral, casing point reached on February 5, 2020, 1:30 a.m. CT:
    • drilling resumed on March 1, 2020, at 11:15 p.m. CT
    • early in the lateral drilling, a max trip gas of 8,733 units were recorded and a 35-foot flare seen;
    • later, a max trip gas of 7,599 units and a 30-foot flare;
    • with all the verbiage it seems it was difficult keeping the well bore in the target zone but I may have been mis-reading that;
    • TD reached: March 18, 2020 at 6:00 a.m. CT; measured depth of 23,800 feet;
    • highlighted in yellow: "There is no ability to frac out the toe."
