US Energy Independence -- November 27, 2019

This will be the top story of the week. Not so much the story itself, but "everybody" is now reporting this story.

  1. Slightly off topic, but the weekly EIA petroleum report shows US at 12.9 bopd. Yeah, it's a weekly production number, which means it is just interpolation of the STEO projections, not real survey data. Still...nice to look at it and taunt the peak oilers. Cause after 12.9 comes...you know.

    1. Wow, that is amazing .... 12.9 bopd. In the posts today asking whether US will be energy independent, this Rystad Energy forecast: Crude output driven by production in the Permian, Bakken and Eagle Ford shale plays is forecast to grow from 10.32 million barrels per day in 2018 to 18.73 million bpd in 2030.
